Kari Larsen,  Co-Owner

As the founder of About Face Design Team, Kari’s creative designs in hairstyling and her detailed, flawless touch with makeup has helped wedding and portrait photographers win awards at the national level.  Her work has graced the covers of many publications and is frequently featured in The Perfect Wedding Guide, Central Florida Bride, and Orlando Leisure magazines. She has been featured in published articles and has spoken for professional photographers nationally. Kari and partner Gina Lamm continue to train and teach the stylists of About Face Design Team the latest techniques and hottest styles for hair and makeup for weddings, salon, print, film and HDTV.

Gina Lamm,  Co-Owner

International training and over twenty years experience makes Gina the “go-to” makeup artist for print, film, HDTV and weddings.  Across the globe she has a faithful clientele, including many celebrities who make her their “first choice” makeup artist. Gina joined Kari in 2004 as co-owner of About Face Design Team. Merging Gina’s stellar talent and high-profile resume with a well-established leader in the bridal market was a match made in heaven!   Kari and Gina are leaders in the industry; their service is always in demand because of their absolute devotion to their business, their personalized attention to detail for their clients, and their high standard of excellence for their staff.

Jane,  Office Mgr/Scheduling Coordinator

Master at coordinating hair & makeup services behind the scenes, Jane isincredible at juggling all the details of any event or appointment to make sure everything runs smoothly.  When Jane is not handling “Scheduling Central,” she enjoys Jazzercise as well as cooking and entertaining.  She is affectionately known as About Face Design Team’s “Jangel.”

Jeshel,  Licensed Cosmetologist

Jeshel’s personal motto is, “I don’t want you to like it; I want you to LOVE it!”  An Orlando native and graduate of Paul Mitchell The School, Jeshel has worked with industry professionals Beth and Carmine Minardii, television Local 6 and the Ellen DeGeneres Show.  Jeshel’s passion is creating flawless hair and makeup behind the chair that makes for beauty and perfection in front of the camera.  Jeshel volunteers her professional services for Flashes of Hope.org. and she loves to dance, cook and make people happy.



Kalie,  Licensed Cosmetologist

Kalie loves working with brides.  She says, “No matter how many weddings I do, I get even more excited every time!”  She loves to study a client’s face and quickly find the best, most flattering look for their unique personality and style.  Kalie is passionate about creating fantastic, glamorous hairstyles and can replicate just about any “red carpet” look.  She has worked with world-renowned Martin Parsons assisting at major workshops, and she is constantly updating her skills and mastering the current styles through continuing education workshops.  A valuable member of the About Face Design Team, Kalie is always learning more techniques for makeup for film, print and HDTV.

Ashlynn,  Licensed Aesthetician

Ashlynn’s work ethic is, “Making everyone feel their most beautiful inside and out is my ultimate goal!”  A graduate of Paul Mitchell The School, Ashlynn’s favorite job so far has been working with TV personality Lauren Thompson at Golf Channel.   Ashlynn is top-notch when it comes to great makeup for men and women for print, HDTV and weddings.

Evey,  Makeup Artist/Hair Designer

Evey has created gorgeous looks for hair and makeup all over the world in ads for top brands like JC Penney Body Glove and TV Guide.  She has worked with an extensive list of celebrities including Sharon Stone, Jason Alexander, Dan Akroyd, Backstreet Boys, Neil Armstrong, The Commodores, Louie Anderson, Leanne Tweeden, Jordan Knight, and Lisa Gleave, model on “Deal Or No Deal.”  Evey was part of the prestigious Vincent Longo Team for Fashion Week for 4 seasons.   Her long list of work for Fashion Magazines includes Seventeen, Twist, Elle, Central Florida Bride, Orlando Magazine, and YM.
